The Hillstown Grange #87 and VFW Post 7659 invite all East Hartford and Manchester Girl Scouts and anyone who would like to help us send Girl Scout Cookies to our Soldiers serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.The cookies have been donated and the VFW ships the cookies.

This year as a special feeling of home we are drawing spring pictures and taping them to the boxes of cookies before we pack them for shipping. Several schools have already made up stacks of spring drawings of flowers and we will have material on hand to make up what we need for a total of 1000 boxes that we hope to pack up.

This event will be held Saturday, May 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Hillstown Grange Hall, 617 Hills St. East Hartford. For more information please call 860-690-2845.
